When it comes to natural beauty this dynamic sister duo say their brand of Pacific hospitality delivers a premium service that enhances their customer’s inner beauty as they get their eyelash and beauty needs met.
Venna Tohilima and Ama Hemana are the proud owners of LashFix – Eyelash and Beauty Bar. The Kiwi-Samoan sisters began their Melbourne business venture 2015 and its rapid popularity has left the duo no choice but to open their first shop front in Port Melbourne.
The Grand Opening on July 17th features special treats for the pallet and beauty needs with discounts on all treatments.
“Our vision is to be role models for other women, particularly for our Pacific young girls and mothers,” says Tohilima, founder and mother of four.
“We want them to know they can be successful Pacific business women”.
Tohilima started training as an eyelash technician in Auckland New Zealand and in 2014, she moved to Melbourne and started LashFix at her St Albans home as a sole technician.
By 2015 her business had started picking up more new clients and she employed another technician and a hairdresser.
And in just three years, the demand for the LashFix service has meant a move to a bigger premises.
Hemana co-founder and younger sibling, recently moved to Melbourne to help run the new shop and is Lashsfix’s resident social media and marketing specialist.
Family is very important to the sisters and they credit the rapid growth of their business to family support and to the LashFix signature brand of unique Pacific hospitality – creating a customer centric environment for all women to feel empowered, pampered and at home.
